Job Role: Frontend Developer – React.js – Bristol Holiday Firm

Are you a Frontend Developer looking to expand your skillset across the full stack?

Techmunity are hiring a frontend focused full stack developer for a Bristol organisation who’re an award-winning provider of travel experiences.

With a leadership team made up of industry experts from the likes of LoveHolidays, Rentalcars.com and Flight Centre Travel Group, and a product that offers 100s of tours over 50+ countries that’s growing daily, this is an exciting business to join.

They are building a new engineering team in Bristol to upgrade their software systems and importantly, work on green field projects as they selectively re-engineer software which has supported the business for the last 20+ years.

On a day to day basis you’ll be designing, developing, and maintaining front end web applications using React and APIs using PHP with Laravel – as well as developing responsive & user-friendly UI’s using React.js.

The CTO is open minded to experience – it’s important that you have strong frontend development experience using a modern framework, if that’s React.js, awesome but equally if you’ve used Vue.js that’s also fine.

Whilst this is a frontend focused position, given it’s a small tech team you’ll be helping out occasionally on the backend so knowledge of PHP and modern MVC frameworks will help – but if you don’t have this, you can learn.

For this Frontend Developer position they’re offering between £40,000 to £45,000 – they work in a hybrid working environment, meeting up 3 days a week in their new Central Bristol offices easily accessible from Temple Meads.

They’re running a 2 stage interview process with no take home technical task so this role will be filled quickly.
