Job Role: Head of Engineering – GenAI London Startup

Techmunity are hiring for a Head of Software Engineering on behalf of a London AI startup who’re well funded and revenue generating already, making them an exciting prospect for the future.

They’re leveraging the latest advancements in Generative AI to build a B2B platform that’s generating millions of pounds in revenue for some of the biggest companies in the world – and they’re just getting started.

As the Head of Software Engineering, you will be looking after a team of 10 (x2 staff engineers, x2 ML engineers and the rest are a mixture of backend & frontend engineers)

They are looking to scale this team further in 2025, so this role has plenty of room to grow.

They are looking for someone who has:

Experience overseeing technical teams working on complex problems
Hands on experience with Golang (alternatively Python, Java, Scala or Kotlin can be considered)
A natural approach to people management that inspires colleagues to collaborate in a positive way
A developed understanding of how to manage high performance teams in environments with short release cycles and high customer engagement

For this Head of Software Engineering role they are paying upto £130,000 + significant equity and other excellent benefits.

This will be a hybrid working role, based in Central London – typically engineers come in 2-3 days per week.
