Are you a Lead Engineer looking for the opportunity to come and build a team in an AI/tech4good start-up?

Techmunity are hiring for a Head of Software Development on behalf of a well funded AI EdTech start-up in Central London.

They’re using highly advanced AI technology & techniques to create a product that’s going to change the way millions of people learn – this is an amazing opportunity to shape the future of education globally!

They are well funded with 3+ years worth of runway and on track to hit profitability in the near future – and they’re just getting started.

You’ll working with Founders who’ve got a proven track record in building & scaling education tech companies, as well as working alongside inspiring engineering talent from the likes of Whatsapp and Meta.

Your role as Head of Software Development initially will be “hands on” focused – you’ll be designing a new high-scale system for millions of users, building CI/CD processes and testing pipelines, as well as working on ML model development.

This role will then expand, and you will have the opportunity to grow & shape a engineering department in your image.

They are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience in building high-load applications from scratch

Deep knowledge of Python and AWS

Led or managed a team of developers previously

Has a real passion for technology and the desire to work in a fast moving start-up environment

They are paying from £110,000 to £130,000 + equity – they’re based in London and are predominately onsite but can be flexible.
