Job Role: Senior Software Engineer – AI Vendor Competitor – Remote

Techmunity are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a VC-backed AI startup, who are building a next-generation alternative to traditional AI vendor platforms.

Their small, highly technical team is pushing the boundaries of generative AI, leveraging the latest advancements in LLMs to create a powerful, scalable solution.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a 4-person technical team, working across:

• Product development – Designing and implementing new features using cutting-edge LLM and generative AI techniques.
• Scalability & performance – Building robust, efficient systems for AI model integration, inference, and data processing.
• Data infrastructure – Managing large-scale datasets, optimizing vector stores, and ensuring seamless interaction with multiple LLMs.
• System reliability – Improving distributed data pipelines and database performance for accurate, high-speed querying.

What They’re Looking For

• Strong engineering background – Python, TypeScript, Docker, GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, PostgreSQL.
• LLM experience – Proven work with LLM APIs and real-world prompting challenges.
• Scalability & distributed systems – Comfortable working with large datasets and optimizing AI-driven applications.
• Cloud expertise – Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
